  • Includes electronic pH meter for providing results that are more accurate than traditional litmus paper
  • Comes in a hard carrying case for ease of use in the field
  • Reagents can be replaced individually as they run out to prolong life of kit

The HI 3814 is an environmental monitoring test kit more measuring six important parameters including acidity, alkalinity, dissolved oxygen, carbon dioxide, hardness, and pH.

The kit includes all accessories and reagents for performing over 100 tests for each parameter, and also includes an electronic pH tester. The kit is supplied with a step-by-step manual for performing each test, and a hard carrying case to keep reagents organized in the field.

Acidity range is 0-100 mg/L; 0-500 mg/L (Methyl-orange/Phenolphthalein method), alkalinity range is 0-100 mg/L; 0-300 mg/L (Phenolphthalein/Bromphenol blue method), carbon dioxide range is 0.0-10.0 mg/L; 0.0-50.0 mg/L; 0-100 mg/L (Phenolphthalein method), hardness range is 0.0-30.0 mg/L; 0-300 mg/L (EDTA method), oxygen range is 0.0-10.0 mg/L (Modified Winkler method) and pH range is 0.0-14.0 pH.

Hanna Instruments manufactures a wide variety of analytical instrumentation, including pH meters, multi-parameter meters, electrodes, chemical reagents, and buffer solutions. Founded in 1978, Hanna is headquartered in Woonsocket, RI, with subsidiaries in 32 countries. Hanna Instruments holds many firsts in the field of analytical instrumentation, including a pH electrode with a built-in temperature sensor, an electronic pocket-sized pH tester, and a replaceable electrode pH pocket tester. To assure the quality of its products, Hanna is a vertically integrated manufacturer and does not subcontract any part of its manufacturing.
